Jackie’s artistic journey began later in life — proof that it’s never too late to pursue your calling. After a career transition that mirrored the spirit of Sister Act 2, Jackie stepped boldly into the world of performance, quickly earning recognition for her natural talent and depth of spirit.
Her one-woman stage show, Harriet Tubman: One Woman’s Journey, has been praised for its authenticity, emotional power, and historical accuracy — earning national attention from Broadway World and audiences across the Southeast.

Educator, Storyteller, and Cultural Ambassador
As a certified Teaching Artist with the Tennessee Arts Academy, Jackie has worked with schools, youth programs, and community centers to help young people express their voices through theatre, music, and storytelling. Her work has been recognized by the Tennessee Theatre Association, where she served as Professional Artist Representative (2018–2022).
She was awarded Director of the Year – Diversity on Stage Award for The Juneteenth Story, a production she directed celebrating African American resilience and culture.

As a proud Memphian, Jackie channels the city’s soul into every aspect of her work — from her film projects to her A Show On Wheels! Memphis Music History Tour. She has been twice honored as Runner-Up for the Memphis Pick Award – Best Tour Guide (2022 & 2023) by the City of Memphis Department of Tourism.
Her storytelling celebrates the strength, sound, and spirit of Memphis — a city that gave the world the blues, soul, and rock ’n’ roll.
